Privacy notice
This notice explains what Balaji Stationers ("we") does with personal data you give us through this website, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry or quote request: your name, phone number and anything else you choose to give us (email, company, GSTIN, delivery city, dates, your list, your message and any photos).
- When you write a review: your name, review and rating, and your company, role and email if you add them. Your email is never shown.
- Your quote list is kept only in your own browser until you send it.
- Button counts: we count taps on our WhatsApp and Call buttons and items added to quote lists, as daily totals. These counts contain no personal data.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
Only to reply to you, prepare quotes, complete orders you place with us, and, for reviews you allow, to show them on this site. We don't sell your data or send you marketing you didn't ask for.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and protects it from spam and attacks.
- Our email provider, which delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
- WhatsApp, only if you choose to message us there.
These providers may process data outside India.
How long we keep it
Photos you send with an enquiry are deleted automatically after 90 days. Enquiries are kept for up to three years, then deleted automatically. Reviews stay until you ask us to remove them. Security backups are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent for a review. Contact us on parveen_balaji@hotmail.com or 011 2372 2977, or visit the shop. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Enquiries are visible only to our staff through a password and authenticator-protected admin. Photos you send with an enquiry are never public: they're kept apart from the website's own pictures, with location and camera details removed. The site uses encrypted connections throughout.
